1) The Triune God

We believe there is but one true and living God, a Trinity of one substance and power, and coeternal, namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Matt 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14

2) Jesus Christ; Son of God

We believe in the diety of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to glory, in His coming again.  Acts 17:3, Matt. 1:23, 1 Cor. 15:3-8; Acts 1:9-11

3) The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit proceeds from and is one Being with the Father and the Son, and convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment.  John 15:26, 27; Acts 5:3-4; John 16:8-11

4) The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Scriptures in their entirety are the written Word of God.  They alone contain His will of God as far as it is necessary for us to know it for our salvation.  By the Holy Scriptures we understand those 66 canonical books of the Old Testament. 2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21

5) Depravity and Prevenient Grace

We believe that through the transgression of Adam man is fallen from original righteousness and apart from the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, is not only entirely destitue of holiness, but is inclined to evil, and that continually, and except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.  Eph. 2:1; Rom. 3:10-18, 23

6) Provision for Salvation

We believe that God was in Christ reconciling the work to Himself and that Christ's death on the cross was the perfect and sufficient sacrifice.  John 3:16; Heb. 7:26; Heb 9:26; 10:12

7) Justification, Regeneration, Adoption

We believe that eternal life is a gift of God received by faith in Jesus Christ.  Eph. 2:8,9; Rom 6:23

8) Sanctification

We believe in the Spirit-filled life and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit resulting form the total consecration of the believer to the whole will of God.  1 Thess. 5:23,24; Gal. 5:22,23

9) Security of the Believer

We believe that the believer is secure in Christ as long as he/she walks in obedience and faith.  Phil. 1:6; 2:12

10) Good Works

We believe the Holy Scriptures declare that good works are the necessary fruits of faith and follow regeneration but they do not have the virtue to remove our sins or to avert divine judgment.  Eph. 2:10; Gal 2:16

11) The Church

That the church is the community of (born again) believers under the Lordship of Christ.  Acts 2:47; Rom. 1:18,21

12) Sacraments

That the Lord has ordained the sacraments of Baptism and The Lord's Supper as pledges and symbols of the Christian's profession and signs of grace toward us.  Matt. 28:19; Luke 22:19-22

13) Healing

That God is able to heal and that we ought to pray for the sick.  James 5:13-16

14) The Lord's Day

That the Lord's Day commemorates our Lord's resurrection, is divinely ordained for private and public worship, for rest from unnecessary work, and should be devoted to spiritual improvement, Christian fellowship and service.  Matt. 28:1; Acts 20:7

15) Public Worship

That divine worship is the duty and privilege of all who in the presence of God, bow in adoration, humility, and dedication.  Ps. 95:1,2; 1 Eph. 5:19

16) The Second Coming of Christ

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ.  Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:15-18

17) Resurrection, Judgment and Future State

That there is a resurrection of both the righteoius and the unrighteous.  All stand under the righteous judgment of God, both now and in that day.  Those that are saved will inherit eternal life; those that are lost, eternal punishment.  John 5:22; 2 Cor. 5:8; Matt. 25:41
