Preschool Daily Activities Include:
- Welcome Time: Includes sign-in, homework check-in, free play, singing, and
some art projects.
- Circle Time/Dramatic Play: Includes greeting, birthday/Super Star
recognition, singing, and games.
- Class time: Includes calendar, Pledge of Allegiance, Bible Story, memory
verses, and homework review.
- Number/Letter Work: Includes reviewing letter sounds, songs, papers, and
books.
- Craft Time: Either seasonal crafts or Bible Story crafts or library projects
made with various materials.
- Snack Time: Snacks are provided by the teachers, or children bring in
birthday/Super Star snacks.
- Show and Tell: Children bring in one toy or tell one story once a week.
- Wednesday Challenge Time: Older children complete projects that reinforce
kindergarten concepts.
- Science Time: Includes basic science concepts that reinforce either the
monthly theme, season, or Bible Story.
**Throughout the school year, children also work through a color unit, shape
unit, and a personal safety unit. A bi-monthly theme is also reinforced through
crafts, games, and books. These themes include such things as: solar system,
transportation, community helpers, five senses, and many more.
